Then came Halo

Anticipating Maddies demise, we started looking for another companion for Jenny. For three months we searched the local humane society and the animal shelter for just the right fit. Finally, one cold day in December, I turned the corner into the puppy room at Mesa County Animal Services and I said "well there you are!" and she barked at me in reply. A Jack Russell/Red Heeler mix, we named her Halo in anticipation of discovering the Angel within. Two and a half years later we can tell you with certainty that that will always be a long work in progress!
